Mariana Mazza

Mariana Mazza has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Mariana began their career in 2006 as a Manager at KPMG Advisory. In 2011, they joined AEGON as a Senior Project Manager and later took on the role of Senior Risk Manager in Risk Governance & Control. After that, they joined Transamerica as an Assistant Director in Financial Compliance and Operational Risk. In 2016, Mariana returned to AEGON and held various roles, including Head of Operational Risk and Head of Risk Governance. Currently, they are working at Aegon Asset Management as the Global Head of Operational and Model Risk, a position they have held since 2024.

Mariana Mazza has a Master Degree in Economics from Tilburg University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Mariana also completed the Influence and behavior course at Bureau Zuidema in 2014. In addition, they have certifications in Financial Risk Management from GARP in 2013, and Prince2 Foundation/Practitioner from Global Project Performance in 2010.
