Jurjen de Groot has a diverse work experience in various digital roles. Jurjen began their career as a Marketing Project Manager at Rabobank and later worked as a Marketing Consultant at T-Mobile and Adimec. Jurjen then served as a Market Manager at Agis Zorgverzekeringen before joining International Card Services (ICS) as a Marketing Manager. At ICS, they eventually became the Head of Digital Channels & Customer Experience, leading a team of Customer Experience Experts, Product Owners, and UX designers. Jurjen also served as the Value Stream Lead Consumer/Omni-Channel and provided expert advice on the Customer Experience Strategy to the Board of Directors. After their time at ICS, they took a sabbatical before joining Mediahuis nv as the Director of Digital Customer Experience, where they focused on growth, improvement of the subscription model, and accelerating digital marketing and sales. Most recently, Jurjen worked at Samsung Electronics as the Head of Digital Platforms, responsible for various digital platforms and strategies. Currently, they are the Digital Channel Lead a.i. at Aegon Global, where they are leading the Digital team and executing the digital channel strategy to enhance user and employee experience.

Jurjen de Groot has a diverse education history. Jurjen obtained their MSc in Business Administration from the University of Groningen in 2002. In 2015, they pursued a program in Customer Experience Strategy & Execution at Nyenrode Business University. In 2010, they completed a Postdoctoral Program in CRM and Customer-oriented Entrepreneurship at Beeckestijn Business School. Jurjen also attended a Masterclass in Service Design at Delft University of Technology in 2019 and obtained certification in NLP Leadership Practitioner from NTI NLP in the same year. Finally, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Hoge Hotelschool from Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Jurjen de Groot has obtained various certifications.
