Melissa A Rogers

Melissa A. Rogers, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has a diverse work experience in human resources spanning over several years. Melissa A began their career as a Human Resources Assistant at C&I Engineering in 1991, where they assisted with recruitment, payroll information, and special projects. Melissa A then moved on to SpectraCare Home Health Care Company in 1993, working as a Human Resources Associate. In 1994, Melissa took on the role of Human Resources Manager at Duplicator Sales and Service/Derby City Lithographing, where they had full responsibility for the HR function and provided coaching to a team of three employees. Since 1998, Melissa has been the Lead Human Resources Business Partner at Aegon, supporting their global corporate IT division in various areas including compensation, organizational development and design, workforce planning, and employee relations. Melissa A is experienced in mergers and acquisitions and has been instrumental in developing programs and policies to increase employee engagement and enablement.

Melissa A. Rogers, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources from the University of Louisville in the period from 1986 to 1991. Melissa A has since acquired several certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in 1993, followed by the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in 2015. Melissa also holds a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI obtained in 1991.
