Irene Camarena

Irene Camarena is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management, evaluation, and community affairs. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at AEG since March 2023, Irene previously held the position of Director of Project Management and Program Evaluator at the Wexford Institute from August 2014 to March 2023, where expertise in federal grant applications and program evaluations was demonstrated. Irene’s background includes roles such as Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist at the Antioch University Counseling Center, Development Director at Alliance College Ready Public Schools, and Vice President at Guerra & Associates, LLC. Additionally, Irene has experience in government relations with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Playa Capital Company, bringing a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning and advocacy. Irene holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Chicana/o Studies from UCLA and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-Los Angeles.
