Raúl Aragonés Ortiz PhD

Raúl Aragonés Ortiz PhD has held a variety of roles since 1998. From 1998 to 2000, they were a Part-time professor at Salesians de Sarrià. From 2000 to 2013, they were a Part-time associate Lecturer professor at Microelectronics and Electronics systems department at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they conducted research in System on Chip, ASIC Design, Energy Harvesting & Smart Cities. In 2011, they became a Senior Member of IEEE and an official reviewer and consultant for IEEE Internet of Things journal and IEEE Sensors journal. In 2013, they founded and became President of board of directors at Alternative Energy Innovations and a CEO and Founder of AEinnova. Raúl also became a Senior Member Technical of IEEE Power & Energy Society in 2014 and a Member of IEEE Communications Society in 2019. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Senior Business Advisor at sonar123 and HappyCustomerBox. In 2019, they became President of Agrupació Astronòmica de Terrassa, the third largest astronomical group in Catalonia and tenth largest in Spain. Raúl is currently an Expert at Nuclio Digital School.

Raúl Aragonés Ortiz PhD obtained their Enginyer en Electrònica degree from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1997-1999. Raúl then completed a Master in research in computer architecture from the same university in 2001-2003, followed by a Postgraduate in advanced techniques in intragrated circuit design in 2003-2004. In 2005, they obtained their Diploma d'estudis Avançats from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in the field of Micro i nano electrònica. Raúl then completed their PhD Doctor Eng. in Computer Sciences from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2007-2012. In addition, they obtained a Profesor doctor lector acreditado. - Assistant Professor from AQU Catalunya in 2019 and a Dr. En microelectrónica from Ministerio de Educación. Raúl has also completed various other business-related courses from Esade, IESE Business School, Optimum Ventas, IE Business School, Cambridge Judge Business School, RICHI Social Foundation - BOSTON, KION Project Management Consultants and The Ohio State University.
