Simbarashe Taruvinga

Simbarashe Taruvinga is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at AEIS LLC since January 2014. In this role, they specialize in material testing using Non-Destructive Testing methods, bolting and structural steel inspections, inspection of commercial mechanical systems, and ACI Concrete inspection. They have been involved in various projects such as Newark Energy Center, World Trade Center, LaGuardia Airport Redevelopment Project, and Verazzanno Bridge. They also serve in the US Navy Reserves as a Naval Aircreman Mechanical since November 2017. Prior to this, they worked as a Self-Employed HVAC Technician from June 2013 to December 2013, focusing on installation, repair, and diagnosis of HVAC units. They obtained a Bs. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University in 2012.
