Curtis Generous has a vast work experience in the technology sector. Curtis is currently the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at AEM, where they oversee multiple departments including Engineering, Research & Development, and IT. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Earth Networks, where they were responsible for operating the world's largest real-time lightning detection network.

Before that, Curtis held the position of Chief Technology Officer at AARP, where they played a crucial role in leveraging technology to serve members. Curtis also worked as the CTO at Navy Federal Credit Union, helping the organization utilize innovative technologies.

Curtis has co-founded two companies, MSGA, LLC and Outbounder, Inc, where they held the role of CTO and was involved in various aspects of business development and technology strategies. Additionally, they served as the CTO & SVP at TNS, Inc, where they focused on developing new channel strategies and evaluating mergers and acquisitions.

Curtis has also been an active member of the Washington Area CTO Roundtable Inc as a board member. Furthermore, they have pursued continuing education at Coaches Training Institute (CTI). Curtis'swork experience showcases their expertise in technology, operational management, and strategic leadership.

Curtis Generous has an extensive education history. In 1974, they attended St. Mark's School for an unspecified field of study. Curtis then pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering at Towson University from 1976 to 1977. Following that, Curtis attended California State University Maritime Academy from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology/Engineering.

In 1982, Curtis enrolled at Loyola University Maryland, focusing on Electrical Engineering/Computer Science until 1984. Years later, in 2015, they joined Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business for an Executive Education Certificate in Leadership Development, which they completed in 2016.

Aside from their formal education, Curtis has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In May 1981, they earned the US Merchant Marine Officer certification from the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. In November 2020, they obtained two additional certifications, "Managing Organizational Change for Managers" and "Managing Virtual Teams," both from LinkedIn.
