Kenny Chong

Kenny Chong is a Senior R&D Mechanical Design Engineer at AEM since November 2022, with a strong background in mechanical design and engineering within the semiconductor industry. Prior experience includes R&D Mechanical Development Engineer at Mi Equipment (M) Sdn Bhd, where Kenny led the mechanical design of packaging machines and initiated cost-saving projects, achieving significant efficiency improvements. At Cohu, Inc., Kenny developed new modules, produced detailed mechanical drawings, and collaborated on prototype validation. Early career experiences also include technical writing and process engineering internships at Motorola Solutions, Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing, and Jabil, enhancing skills in documentation, assembly procedures, and process optimization. Kenny holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
