Kevin Sapp

Kevin Sapp has extensive experience in the technology industry. Currently, they are the CTO & Co-Founder of Aembit, an Identity Platform that provides secure access between federated workloads. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Product Management at Netskope, where they played a key role in redefining cloud, network, and data security.

Before Netskope, Kevin was the VP of Products & Co-Founder at New Edge Labs, a zero-trust network access service for Hybrid IT, which was later acquired by Netskope. Kevin also served as the VP of Strategy at Pulse Secure, a leading provider of access and mobile security solutions.

Earlier in their career, Kevin held various roles such as Director of Product Management at Okta, CTO & Co-Founder of SpydrSafe Mobile Security, Senior Director Of Engineering at McAfee, and VP of Engineering at Trust Digital. At Trust Digital, they were responsible for the product strategy and development of their Enterprise Mobility Management product. Trust Digital was acquired by McAfee during their tenure.

Kevin also gained experience as a contractor, working on software and systems engineering projects for both Digicon Corp and Psynapse Technologies. Kevin contributed to developing infrastructure management systems for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and behavioral-based network intrusion protection technology funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated their expertise in product management, strategy, architecture, and engineering. Kevin has built and led cross-functional teams and maintained strong relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.

Kevin Sapp holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including RYA Day Skipper - Sailing from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) in March 2023, ASA 101, Basic Keelboat Sailing from the American Sailing in October 2022, ASA 103, Basic Coastal Cruising from the American Sailing in October 2022, International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft from the RYA in March 2023, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2018.
