Darren Pat

Darren Pat currently serves as a PSO Controller at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since September 2023. Prior to this role, Darren held the position of Operations Manager at Transpower New Zealand from December 2011 to September 2023, and previously worked as a PSO Controller at AEMO from February 2011 to December 2011. Earlier in Darren's career, experience includes serving as a System Coordinator at Transpower New Zealand from July 2005 to February 2011 and as an Operations Supervisor at Trustpower from April 2002 to July 2005. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Canterbury between 1995 and 2002.
