Katalin Foran

Katalin Foran has extensive experience in the energy sector, beginning as an Energy Consultant at McLennan Magasanik Associates from April 2004 to March 2008. Following this role, Katalin served as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Victorian Department of State Development, Business and Innovation from April 2008 to April 2014, focusing on carbon pricing and quantitative modeling. Since April 2014, Katalin has been employed as a Principal Analyst in Market Management at the Australian Energy Market Operator, specializing in energy policy and strategy, regulatory analysis, and data analysis. Katalin holds a Master of Management in Strategic Foresight from Swinburne University of Technology, completed between 2007 and 2012, and possesses dual Bachelor's degrees in Engineering (Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering) and Business Administration from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, both awarded with First Class Honours in 2000.
