Teresa Smit

Teresa Smit is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Group Manager at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) since February 2017. Prior to this role, Teresa held various positions at Eskom from January 1997 to February 2017, including Corporate Specialist in System Operations. Teresa's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Pretoria, an Honours degree in Computer Science from the University of South Africa, a BSc in Electrical Engineering from UCT, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Chemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand.
