Tony Zhang

Tony Zhang is a Senior Engineer specializing in Systems Performance at the Australian Energy Market Operator since April 2023. Previously, Tony held positions as a SCADA Engineer at Vestas, where responsibilities included wind farm SCADA design and industrial networking, and as a SCADA & Commissioning Engineer at DNV, focusing on solar farm SCADA systems. Tony's experience also encompasses leading commissioning teams at Goldwind and performing technical engineering tasks at Windar Photonics and Mita-Teknik. With a strong background in engineering acquired through a Bachelor of Engineering from Monash University and a Master of Engineering from RMIT University, Tony has contributed to numerous renewable energy projects across Australia and internationally.
