William Wéam Aridi

William Wéam Aridi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. William Wéam is currently the CEO and Founder of aems.ai, a position they have held since January 2020. In the same year, they also served as a Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Before that, William completed their Ph.D. in Systems Engineering at the University of Cambridge, where they were actively involved from October 2014 to September 2019. During their time at the university, they also worked as a Course Supervisor at the Department of Engineering and conducted research as a Data Analyst at The Oliver Zangwill Centre.

In 2015, William joined Jaguar Land Rover as a Process Improvement Engineer, contributing their expertise until September 2018. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Data Scientist at Addenbrooke's hospital emergency department and as a Research Assistant at the Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut.

William also has experience as an Intern-Site Engineer at ERGA Group, where they worked for a brief period in 2011.

William Wéam Aridi has a strong educational background, with degrees from prestigious institutions. William Wéam attended the American University of Beirut from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Cambridge from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Systems Engineering. In 2020, they enrolled in the Accelerate programme at the Cambridge Judge Business School, focusing on Entrepreneurship, which they completed in 2021.
