Orestis Dimakopoulos

Orestis Dimakopoulos has a diverse work experience in various industries. Orestis is currently working at Aenova Group as the Head of Quality Assurance, where they are responsible for managing corrective and preventive actions, coordinating self-inspections, and negotiating quality agreements with external partners. Prior to this, Orestis worked at ProBasket as a Regional Referee and at Joga Med AG as a Quality Assurance Manager. Orestis also has experience in environmental and hygiene monitoring at HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition AG and in R&D as a Food Engineer at DELTA FOODS SA. Orestis began their career as a Food Engineer at Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) and later worked as a Quality System Specialist at SAMARAS & ASSOCIATES LTD. Orestis has strong expertise in quality assurance, auditing, batch release, and GMP.

Orestis Dimakopoulos completed their undergraduate education from 2002 to 2009 at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), where they earned a degree in Food Engineering with a field of study in Food Science and Technology. Orestis further pursued their education at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2011 to 2014 and achieved a Master's Degree in Environment and Health. In 2015, Orestis took a distance learning course in Food Safety Management from Wageningen University & Research. Orestis also holds a certification as a Food Safety Management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor from TUV HELLAS, which is accredited by IQMS.
