Nigel Warburton

Nigel Warburton is a freelance philosopher, podcaster, and writer with extensive experience in academia and media. Currently serving as Consultant Editor for Aeon Media Pty Ltd since February 2016, Warburton is responsible for commissioning essays and creating videos. Previously, Warburton was a Founding Faculty member at the London Interdisciplinary School and held the position of Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the Open University for nearly two decades. Warburton's earlier roles include Director positions at both the Copyright Licensing Agency and the ALCS, as well as a Lecturer role at the University of Nottingham. Warburton holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from the University of Bristol.
