Becky Moncayo

Becky Moncayo has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Becky currently works at Aequor Technologies as a Senior Program Manager. Previously, at Quidel, they served as a Senior Program Manager in charge of product life cycle management for new diagnostic platforms and assays. Notably, they successfully launched the Sofia 2 Campylobacter FIA test and the Sofia 2 C. in the US and EU markets, respectively.

Prior to that, Becky worked at Bank of America as a Team Lead/Agile Scrum Master, overseeing project teams and implementing agile methodologies. Becky also has experience in the real estate industry, having operated their own brokerage firm called Moncayo Realty, where they facilitated real estate transactions worth over $23 million.

Becky has also held project management positions at Gilead Sciences, Alcon, and Amgen. At Gilead Sciences, they facilitated the transition of manufacturing plant resources and processes to a new location. At Alcon, they managed the market launch of two key products for Intra Ocular Lens products. At Amgen, they implemented a chemical and reagent inventory system and led various projects supporting Global Regulatory Affairs and Safety.

Before these roles, Becky worked as a Project Manager at various companies and also at CIGNA Dental Health of Florida, Inc., where they provided project management, business analysis, and training services for the implementation of new business processes and systems.

Becky Moncayo has a diverse and extensive education history. Becky started their educational journey in 1987 at Oklahoma State University, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering until 1989.

After a few years, Becky pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Systems at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas. Becky attended this institution from 1993 to 1996, specializing in Information Systems.

Continuing their academic pursuit, Becky enrolled at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 1998 to 2001. During this period, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business.

In addition to their formal education, Becky has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. One of these certifications is in Strategic Thinking, which they obtained from LinkedIn in March 2021. Another notable certification they hold is the California Bureau of Real Estate Brokers License, which they received from the California Bureau of Real Estate in August 2007.
