James Meikle

James Meikle has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. James began their career as a Summer Student Researcher at Providence Health & Services and The University of British Columbia in 2011. James then worked as a Radiation Therapy Volunteer at Kingston General Hospital before returning to Providence Health & Services as a Summer Student Researcher in 2010. In 2012, they interned at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson in the role of Government Affairs and Market Access. James later joined Crohn's and Colitis Canada as a Public Policy and Stakeholder Relations Intern in 2015. In the same year, they interned at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, this time in the role of Government Affairs and Market Access Intern. James then joined Roche as a Customer Strategy Analyst in 2016. In 2017, they joined AstraZeneca as the Business Unit Analytics Manager, Respiratory, and later became a Medical Sales Representative. James is currently working at Aequus Pharmaceuticals as the Senior Business Analyst, Business Development, and will be starting as the Director of Business Development and Corporate Strategy in April 2023.

James Meikle completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Economics from Queen's University, which they attended from 2009 to 2014. Afterward, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Biotechnology degree from the University of Toronto, studying there from 2014 to 2016.
