Keenan Kwok began their career in 2001 as a Technology Investment Banking Analyst and Associate at Deutsche Bank. In 2006, they co-founded Angkor Capital, a US$50 million, 5 year fund that was closed in 2011 with an average IIR of 28%. Keenan also co-founded HiFi Orient Thai Public Company Limited in 2006, which was sold to Foxconn / Sharp in 2019. In 2008, they became an angel investor for Snakk Media and MXM (Meredith Xcelerated Marketing). In 2015, they became the Group CEO of GetLinks, a Curated Tech Hiring Marketplace operating in Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore. In 2016, they founded AsiaStartups, providing thousands of Investors, Mentors, and Corporate Partners with access to hundreds of highly curated and sought after early stage startup investment opportunities. Keenan also became Co-founder and Partner of Aera VC, a charitable foundation that invests in causes and social entrepreneurs.
Keenan Kwok attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Keenan then continued their studies at the same university from 2000 to 2001, obtaining a Masters in Accounting and Finance.
