Michael Späth has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael started their career as an intern at Elefanten K.G. in 2003 and later interned at SEAT S.A. in 2004. At SEAT, they assisted in the 4Motion Project of the Volkswagen Group and carried out purchase negotiations.

In 2005, Michael joined BSH Bosch and Siemens home appliances as a project assistant before moving on to ECCO Sko A/S, where they worked as a Project Manager and Internal Consultant. At ECCO Sko A/S, they implemented production systems, coached line management in problem-solving, and contributed to Lean Manufacturing and SCM strategy.

From 2011 to 2013, Michael worked as a Senior Consultant at J&M Management Consulting AG before joining EY. At EY, they held multiple roles, including Manager and Senior Manager. Michael focused on integrating emerging technologies like Blockchain, AI, IoT, and AR within Supply Chain and Operations. Michael also led the GSA Blockchain community and co-created solutions across the end-to-end supply chain.

Since 2018, Michael has been working at Aera Technology, initially as a Client Executive Partner and currently as the Regional VP, DACH. In these roles, they collaborate with large industrial clients, identifying growth opportunities and using AI and ML to automate decision-making processes. Michael also builds teams of thought leaders and supports clients in their transformation journeys.
