Jeremy Wirtz has a long history of work experience. Jeremy began their career in 2001 as a Lieutenant in the Special Services Group at Critical Intervention Services. In 2004, they became the Vice President/Chief Operating Officer at Wolf Protective Agency, Inc. and in 2006, they became the President/CEO of Gulf Coast Protective Services. In 2008, they returned to Critical Intervention Services as a Sergeant in the Special Services Group and Supervisor of the Orlando, FL branch. In 2010, they became the Vice President of Engineering at Aercor Wireless Inc. Additionally, since 2005, they have been the owner and photographer at Jeremy R. Wirtz Photography.

Jeremy Wirtz completed their high school diploma in General Studies from Chaska High School in 1992. Jeremy then obtained an Amateur Extra Class license from the Federal Communications Commission in 1991. In 2010, they obtained an AirMagnet Product Expert certification from AirMagnet (Fluke Networks), an Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) certification from Aruba Networks, and a Certified Wireless Technology Specialist certification from CWNP. In 2012, they obtained a Network+ certification from CompTIA and a Survey Certified Professional Course certification from AirMagnet (Fluke Networks). In 2013, they obtained an Offensive Security Wireless Professional certification from Offensive Security. In 2018, they obtained an Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional certification from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, and an Aruba Certified Mobility Professional v8 certification from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. In 2021, they obtained an Ekahau Certified Systems Engineer - Design certification from Ekahau.
