Ryan Tam

Ryan Tam is the current Chief Executive Officer at Aerlift. Prior to this, they were an intern at Safran Landing Systems from August 2017 to April 2019, where they worked on patents in hydraulic actuator design, structural design, and metal additive processes. Ryan also did design studies and evaluations of additive manufacturing technologies, special processing and materials development and testing, machine inspection, and 3D scanning technologies. Ryan led various company improvement projects and was part of the Canadian SRED ITC Program. From May 2016 to August 2016, they were a summer intern at Heliolytics, where they worked on devices for aerial thermal imagining of solar sites. From November 2015 to April 2016, they were a lab assistant at the University of Toronto, where they designed and 3D printed for wearable tech. Ryan has also been an IT technician at Crescent School from June 2014 to August 2014.

Ryan Tam attended the University of Toronto for their Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science. Ryan then went on to Crescent School for their bachelor's degree.
