Heng Su

VP of Sensor Development at AerNos, Inc.

Heng Su has over 10+ years of experience in nanotechnology, nanomaterials, material science and engineering, chemical engineering, electrochemistry, microelectromechanical systems, and mass fabrication systems. In 2016, they became the VP of Sensor Development for AerNos, Inc., where they oversee all aspects of nanotechnology-based gas sensor design and development. Heng also utilizes nano innovation to develop gas detection technologies utilizing complex molecular formulations to detect multiple airborne toxins simultaneously. From 2014 to 2016, Su was the Director of Sensor Development for Nano Engineered Applications, Inc., where they were responsible for the development of nanomaterial-based sensors via electrochemistry technologies that can detect gases at the parts-per-billion (ppb) level. Heng also researched and developed single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) based gas sensors via electrochemical deposition. From 2014 to the present, Su has also served as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Riverside.

Heng Su received a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from National Dong Hwa University in 2004. Heng then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Irvine in 2009. Finally, Heng Su completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside in 2014.
