JP Floyd

JP Floyd has extensive aviation experience, currently serving as a Check Pilot (TRE) for the Boeing 787 at Air Canada since April 1998. Floyd has held multiple managerial roles within the company, including Manager of Flight Standards and Manager of Line Operations. Previous experience includes positions at aero hygenx as Senior Director of Standards & Compliance, and at Pelesys Learning Systems Inc. as a Subject Matter Expert for Special Operations Courses. Prior experience also encompasses instructional roles as a Simulator Instructor at Bombardier Aerospace and as an Instructor Pilot with BAE Systems Saudi Arabia. Floyd began a career in aviation with the Canadian Armed Forces, performing search and rescue operations and instructing future pilots. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen's University.
