William Gilliland

William Gilliland is an accomplished professional in the aerospace and drone industries, currently serving as a Business Development Manager at Aero Velocity since May 2024 and as a Commercial Drone Pilot at DroneBase since July 2020. William's prior experience includes roles as Business Development Manager, UAV Test Pilot, and Lead Technician at Workhorse from October 2021 to July 2024. William also worked as a Drone Pilot, Photographer, and Sales Manager for the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area at Real 3D Space from April 2020 to June 2023, and as an Insurance Agent at Shelter Insurance Companies from May 2018 to November 2021. Earlier in their career, William held supervisory positions at DHL from July 2009 to April 2018 and worked as a Delivery Driver for Home City Ice from September 2008 to July 2009. William holds a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from the University of Cincinnati, earned between 2010 and 2014, and has additional education from Sporty’s Flight Academy.
