Ismael Santiago

PhD Ismael Santiago serves as Codirector of the Curso Experto Tokenización de proyectos empresariales y Finanzas Descentralizadas (DeFi) and Professor of Blockchain, NFT, DeFi, ReFi, and Token Economics at Universidad de Sevilla since September 2010. With a PhD in Finance, awarded with the distinction of Cum Laude, Ismael Santiago teaches various finance courses including Corporate Finance and Empresa Valuation. Additionally, Ismael holds leadership roles as CEO of OLIVACHAIN I+D+i, focused on blockchain development for the olive oil sector, and serves as a financial advisor and speaker at multiple institutions. Contributions to academic and industry research on blockchain technology and its applications in finance have been made through various collaborations and projects with organizations such as BeInCrypto and Cointelegraph en Español. Education includes advanced degrees from Universidad de Sevilla and Universitat de Córdoba with specialization in finance and programming.
