Rajesh Thangavel

Rajesh Thangavel is an accomplished professional in the field of bioengineering and biotechnology, currently serving as Co-Founder at Aerobiosys Innovations Private Limited since November 2019. Prior to this role, Rajesh held the position of Bio-Design Innovation Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, from August 2018 to August 2019. Rajesh also contributed to the Placement Office at IIT Bombay as Company Coordinator from April 2016 to May 2017, where responsibilities included coordinating recruitment efforts for over 1600 students. A brief tenure as a Project Trainee at the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR) was completed in 2016. Rajesh is pursuing an MTech and PhD in Bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Science, expected to complete in December 2024, and holds a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from IIT Bombay and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai.
