Tielman Nieuwoudt

Tielman Nieuwoudt has a diverse work experience across multiple companies. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Aerobotics, focusing on frontend development and business analytics. Tielman collaborated with product and sales teams in a fast-paced innovation culture. Prior to that, in the same year, they were a Freelance Developer at QuickPic, where they built and extended products for automotive brands. Tielman developed an Android and iOS fleet management tool and introduced the first live media-monitoring tool for the South African automotive industry. In 2017, Tielman worked as a Freelance Developer at Flexy, contributing to the development of a human resources centered product connecting corporate companies with independent experts. Tielman used a NextJS framework for the frontend and Graphcool backend. Before that, from 2016 to 2018, they were an Engineer in Training at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, where they built a fault monitoring dashboard for the Eskom National Electricity Distribution System. Lastly, from 2013 to 2016, they worked on creating a real-time communication application at Scryo, aimed at enabling effective remote communication for math and science.

Tielman Nieuwoudt earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Energy Systems from Stellenbosch University from 2010 to 2013. Tielman then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Stellenbosch University from 2014 to 2015.
