Bill has 40 years as an expert in Distributed Unix computing environment, secured database technology, Artificial Intelligence, and complex high-performance computing.

Bill has led to the development of many of the security areas of information technology over the past 30 years. He has contributed to the coding that formed the foundation of the internet, championed the development and dissemination of open-source operating systems, and created database software so effectively that its elements remain inside virtually every computer operating today. From the early days of computer technology, and truly understands how and why things work together, which is quite rare today.

Bill has over 30 years of many firsts in developing new technologies, from working with Linus Torvalds on the first Linux port from x86 to VMS, VMS Firewall, First Distributed Database for Nuclear Industry.
