Austin Scheer

Austin Scheer currently serves as the Instrumentation Department Manager and Project Engineer at Aerodyn Engineering, LLC since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Project Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer at MTI from July 2020 to April 2023. Austin contributed to research projects at Valparaiso University as an Undergraduate Researcher, focusing on diesel engines, solar PV panels, and wind turbines while also serving as a Student Senator, managing budgets for student organizations and shaping university policy. Earlier internships included mechanical engineering at Revs Institute, Inc., maintaining historic cars, and volunteering at A.J. Foyt Enterprises during race events. Austin's early career also featured lifeguard positions at Eagles Nest Pool and Lawrence North High School. Austin graduated from Valparaiso University in 2020 after completing education at Bishop Chatard High School.
