Dave Mescal

Dave Mescal is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as the Head of People & Organisational Development at Aerogen since August 2021. Prior to this role, Dave held various senior HR positions at ICON plc from July 2015 to July 2021, including Senior Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Director, contributing to the strategic development and management of clinical programs. Before ICON, Dave spent nearly a decade at Diageo in multiple HR leadership roles, notably as the Workday HR Transformation Lead for Continental Europe and as HR Transformation Lead in South Africa, spearheading the implementation of innovative HR systems and operating models. Earlier experience includes significant positions at Tesco Ireland, starting as an Employee Relations Officer. Dave's educational background encompasses a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Limerick and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Galway, complemented by a Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring.
