Gerard K. is a Senior Materials Engineer at Aerogen, focusing on material characterisation technologies to optimize the design of nebulisers throughout the product life cycle. Previously, Gerard held various roles at Aerogen, including Materials Technician and Associate Materials Engineer, and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Limerick. Gerard began their career as a Production Operator at Creganna Medical and has also gained experience as an Operator at Byrne Mech Engineering Ltd. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Physics from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from the University of Limerick, with ongoing postgraduate studies in Product Design Control at the Technological University of the Shannon.
