Andrew Ward EngD CEng CSci MIMMM Prof MICME is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in metallurgy and project management. As the Technical Services Manager at Aeromet International LTD since February 2018, Andrew oversees various functions, including laboratory operations and quality management systems. Prior to this, Andrew held roles such as Project Manager and Metallurgist at the Manufacturing Technology Centre, managing high-value manufacturing projects and advancing solid-state welding processes. Andrew's career spans over three decades, including significant positions at Rolls-Royce Aero Engine Controls and Johnson Matthey, where expertise in materials engineering and process development was honed. Andrew holds an Engineer's Degree from the University of Birmingham and additional qualifications including a Master of Philosophy from Cranfield University and a BEng(Hons) in Metals Technology.
