Joseph Schindler

Dr. Schindler is a nationally recognized stroke expert and has served as a principal investigator in many clinical trials studying novel therapeutics for acute stroke and secondary prevention. Dr. Schindler serves as the Clinical Chief of the Division of Stroke and Vascular Neurology at Yale University School of Medicine where he is an Associate Professor of Neurology and of Neurosurgery. He serves as the Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital and is the founding Director of the Yale New-Haven Telestroke Service which has greatly extended access to stroke services throughout the state of Connecticut. Additionally, he is the Director of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program at Yale-New Haven Hospital & Yale University School of Medicine.
