Shimon Getsel

Shimon Getsel is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Chief System Engineer at Aeronautics Group since March 2018, previously holding the position of Senior System Engineer. Prior experience includes leading the UAV systems engineering branch at the Directorate for Defence R&D (MAFAT) from 2012 to 2017 and overseeing UAV operations in the Israeli Air Force from 2010 to 2012. Shimon holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, obtained between 2000 and 2002, along with an undergraduate degree from the same institution, completed from 1992 to 1996.
