Imants Pulkstenis

Imants Pulkstenis has extensive work experience in engineering and electronics. Imants is currently working at Aerones as the Head of Electronics R&D Team starting from March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as an Electronics Engineer at Aerones from December 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Aerones, Imants worked as an Advisor at AIR Technologies from April 2021 to December 2021. Imants also served as a Researcher / Electronics Engineer at Eventech from July 2020 to November 2021.

Imants gained experience as an Electrical Engineer at Jets Rail from November 2019 to May 2020, where they developed, prototyped, and tested electric and mechatronic systems. Imants also improved existing systems and prepared necessary documentation.

Prior to Jets Rail, Imants worked as a Production Technologist at VIZULO from November 2018 to February 2019.

Imants has a notable tenure at LMT Retail & Logistics, where they initially worked as an Engineer from January 2013 to April 2015. Imants later progressed to the role of Senior Engineer and worked from May 2015 to November 2018.

Imants started their engineering career at DT Mobile as an Engineer from January 2012 to January 2013. Imants also worked as an Engineer at Mosers from May 2005 to December 2011.

Imants Pulkstenis has a strong educational background in engineering and telecommunications. Imants completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Mobile Communications from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they pursued Secondary Special Education in Telecommunication at Riga Technical College from 1997 to 2002.

Imants continued their academic journey by obtaining a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Smart Electronic Systems from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) between 2019 and 2022. This further consolidated their knowledge and expertise in the field.

Additionally, Imants Pulkstenis has also acquired additional certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In November 2022, they obtained the Certified Agile Leadership for Orgs (CAL-O) certification from Scrum Alliance. Moreover, they obtained the JoeDX certification from Agile Business Institute in April 2023.
