Head Of Grants Project Unit at Aerones

Lauma Blūmentāle's work experience includes serving as the Chief Grants Officer at Aerones since November 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at the Ministry of Economics, first as the Deputy Head of the Innovation Policy Unit from July 2019 to November 2021, and then as a Senior Expert in the Innovation Department from August 2019 to July 2021. Before joining the Ministry of Economics, Lauma worked at the Ministry of Finance of Latvia as a Senior Expert in the Communication Department from July 2015 to August 2019. Lauma also held the position of Chairman of the Board at the Association "Citizen with Influence" from February 2011 to September 2016. Additionally, they worked at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia as a Senior Expert in the EU Policy Unit during Latvia's Presidency in the EU Council from May 2014 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Senior Expert at The Procurement Monitoring Bureau from June 2012 to April 2014, and served as a Member of the Board at the "Electoral Reform Society" from March 2011 to January 2014.

Lauma Blūmentāle's education history is as follows:

Lauma Blūmentāle attended Harvard University from 2020 to 2021, where they focused on Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market. Lauma did not obtain a degree during their time at Harvard.

Prior to Harvard, they pursued their Master's degree in International Relations from 2011 to 2013 at Rīga Stradiņš University. Before their Master's degree, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science at the same university from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Lauma Blūmentāle obtained certification in the General Course on Intellectual Property from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in March 2021.
