Risto Meskus

Risto Meskus currently serves as COO at Aerones, a position held since May 2024. Previously, Risto Meskus was with Starship Technologies from March 2022 to April 2024, first as SVP of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Field and Service Operations, and then as VP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain. Prior experience includes managing Scanfil Estonia as Managing Director from June 2020 to January 2022 and consulting on a surgical mask manufacturing project at VTT in April 2020. Risto Meskus took a sabbatical at RM from June 2019 to March 2020, and prior to that, worked at Microsoft from May 2014 to June 2019 in several capacities, including Senior Director for Care Business Capability and General Manager of Hanoi Operations. Risto Meskus also held various roles at Nokia from July 2007 to April 2014, culminating as GM of Dongguan Operations, managing substantial manufacturing resources and operations globally. Earlier roles at Nokia Mobile Phones from May 1999 to 2007 included Director of Factory Development and senior management positions in outsourcing and sourcing within the Asia-Pacific region.
