David Williams

David Williams is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the field of chemistry and biomedical diagnostics. Currently serving as a Professor at The University of Auckland, David co-founded and holds the position of Vice President of Product Development at Orbis Diagnostics since 2016, and has been a co-founder at Mote and Aeroqual Ltd since 2013 and 2002, respectively. David's previous roles include Honorary Professor at The University of Queensland, Adjunct Professor at Dublin City University, Chief Scientist at Alere, Inc., and Thomas Graham Professor at University College London. David also founded Capteur Sensors and Analysers and served as Chief Scientist in Applied Electrochemistry at AEA Technology. David's work has significantly contributed to advancements in bio-nanotechnology and biomedical diagnostics.
