Manuel Rodríguez

Manuel Rodríguez is a PhD candidate and researcher at Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) since February 2018, focusing on aircraft systems, automation, human factors, and flight simulation. Additionally, Manuel serves as an aeronautical engineer at AeroRiver since July 2021, and previously worked as Engineer II at Avior Airlines, where responsibilities included monitoring and troubleshooting fleet engines. Early career experience includes an internship at Construcciones Aeronauticas de Venezuela C.A. as a project engineer, designing an unmanned aircraft and developing pilot training simulator controls. As chief designer at Titan Aerodesign, Manuel led a team to success in SAE Aerodesign competitions, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and leadership. Education includes a Doctor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from ITA and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica de la Fuerza Armada.
