Kyle Wilke

Kyle Wilke has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Molecular and Computational Genomics, where they contributed until August 2011. In 2012, they joined Fraunhofer IPA as a Research Assistant, working until August of the same year. In 2014, they became a Volunteer Tutor at X-Cel Education. From June 2019 to May 2020, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2019, they co-founded AeroShield Materials and held the position of Cofounder and CTO. Concurrently, starting in June 2020 until July 2022, Kyle worked as an Entrepreneurial Research Fellow at Activate.

Kyle Wilke pursued their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Kyle obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2009 and 2013. Following this, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2019. Additionally, Kyle Wilke spent a year studying at the University of Stuttgart between 2011 and 2012, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree during this time.
