Allie Bair, MPA, currently serves as the Grants Manager for AJAC | Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeships since June 2023. Previously, Bair held multiple roles at the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce between July 2020 and October 2023, including Project Management Contractor and Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives. Additional experience includes positions as a Nonprofit Management Consultant at AB Consulting, Associate Director/Interim Executive Director at the Pacific County Economic Development Council, and Executive Director at the Boys & Girls Club of the Long Beach Peninsula. Bair also has a background in writing as a columnist for the Chinook Observer and a Staff Writer for The Easterner. Academically, Bair holds a Master of Public Administration from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The Evergreen State College.

AJAC | Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeships

AJAC launched in 2008 with an investment from Washington State to skill-up the aerospace and advanced manufacturing workforce through registered apprenticeship. AJAC developed and implemented 13 high-growth, in-demand apprenticeship occupations to serve a variety of demographics, industries, and companies across the state. AJAC serves approximately 400 apprentices per year at close to 300 companies, partnering with 12 community colleges to ensure that all apprentices are receiving college credits while working towards a journey-level certificate.
