Denis Galagan

Denis Galagan is a professional with a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Denis started their career as a Technician at "Giprogazoochistka" JSC in July 2017. From September 2016 to June 2018, Denis worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. In July 2019, they took on the role of Mechanical Engineering Intern at German Orbital Systems GmbH for three months. Denis then worked as a Thermal design intern at Centre Spatial Universitaire de Montpellier (CSUM) from January 2020 to March 2020. Denis continued their career as a Junior Researcher from June 2020 to April 2021 at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, where they also served as a Junior Space Engineer from April 2021 to August 2021. Subsequently, Denis joined EPFL Space Center (eSpace) as a Research Engineer in September 2021 and worked until June 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Thermal Engineer at Aerospacelab since July 2022. With a range of experiences in various engineering roles, Denis has developed a strong foundation and expertise in their field.

Denis Galagan pursued their education with a focus on engineering and technical systems. Denis obtained a Bachelor's degree in The Refrigerating, Cryogenic Technics and Life-support systems from Bauman Moscow State Technical University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. After completing their Bachelor's degree, Denis pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same university for a year, from 2017 to 2018, but dropped out.

However, Denis didn't let this setback deter him, and they went on to pursue another Master's degree in Space and Engineering systems at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. Denis enrolled in this program in 2018 and successfully completed it in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Denis Galagan also obtained a certification in "Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects" from Coursera in September 2020.
