Michael Marichal

Michael Marichal has a diverse range of work experience in the aerospace industry. Michael'smost recent role is the Head of Manufacturing Operations at Aerospacelab, where they began in December 2021. Prior to this, they were a Team Leader in Assembly, Integration, Tests and Validation at the same company from June 2019 to March 2022. Before joining Aerospacelab, Michael worked at Safran Aero Boosters from September 2012 to April 2018, where they served as a Mechatronics Engineer. In this role, they were involved in the design and development of cryogenic valves and solenoid valves for the Vinci engine, as well as other activities such as actuators design, supplier interface, and electrical testing.

Michael Marichal completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain in 2010. Michael then pursued a Master of Science (Msc) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the same university, graduating in 2012. In 2015, Michael obtained a certification as a First Aid rescuer from Croix Rouge, becoming company certified.
