Xavier C.

Xavier C. has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as an Infantry Officer in the Schweizer Armee, where they received training and leadership experience. In 2012, they worked as an Auxiliary Security Agent at Protect'Service Fribourg SA. Xavier then worked as a Mechanic intern at Cantin SA in 2013. In 2014, they briefly served as an Operator machine at Liebherr Group. In 2015, Xavier worked as an Engineer for the Haute Tension products at Maxwell Technologies. Xavier then interned as a Mechanical Engineering intern at AlmaTech in 2017, where they completed their Master Thesis project.

From 2017 to 2019, Xavier served as a Swiss National Trainee - Space systems engineer at the European Space Agency (ESA). Here, they worked in the Systems and Engineering Division of the Technical and Quality Management directorate. Xavier supported pre-phase A studies of future missions of ESA in the Concurrent Design Facility (CDF), as well as contributed to the development of tools for applying the Model-Base Systems Engineering methodology.

Most recently, Xavier joined Aerospacelab in 2020 as an Aerospace engineer, focusing on project management.

Xavier C. has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Xavier obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in the same field at the same institution from 2012 to 2015. Alongside their engineering studies in 2012, Xavier C. also attended Vigo, Linguamania and obtained an A1 level certification, although the field of study is unknown.

Before entering university, Xavier C. attended Collège St-Michel in Fribourg from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained their Maturité gymnasiale degree in Économie et droit.

In addition to their academic achievements, Xavier C. has obtained several certifications. These include a Diplôme de Conduite - niveau 2 from ASC/SKO Swiss manager organization in October 2014. Xavier also holds a Business English BULATS (C2) certification from the University of Cambridge, acquired in June 2010, as well as a Certificate of Proficiency in English (C2) from the same institution. Furthermore, they obtained a Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (C1) certification from the TestDaf Institut in November 2009. In the field of music, Xavier C. also holds a Certificat amateur de trombone from the Conservatoire de Fribourg, which they obtained in June 2009.
