Andrew Gates

Andrew Gates is an Application Software Engineer at AeroSpec, Inc. since July 2019, following a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California San Diego, where projects focused on Robotics, Linear Algebra, and Machine Learning. Prior to that, Andrew contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington Tacoma across various engineering courses and held research assistant positions involving Wireless Sensor Networks and pediatric therapy solutions. Early experience includes work as an Assistant Laboratory Support Engineer managing laboratory equipment. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Washington Tacoma. Additional coursework was completed at Pierce College.
