Franco Malatacca

Franco Malatacca is a seasoned professional in software engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager of Software Engineering within the Technology EMEA division at Morningstar since October 2011. Prior roles at Morningstar include Technology Manager and Regional Technology Manager for South Europe. Franco's expertise includes leading development teams, project estimation, and fostering innovation, with experience in web application development and RESTful software architecture. Prior to Morningstar, Franco worked as an IT Consultant for the Comune di Lucera and as a Software Engineer at Project Automation Spa, where expertise in expert systems was further developed. Franco holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Bari and a Bachelor's degree from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
