Behrad Babaee

Behrad Babaee has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and companies. Behrad currently serves as a Technology Evangelist at Aerospike, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this, they were a Solutions Architect at the same company from October 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Aerospike, Behrad worked at DataStax from 2018 to 2021, where they held various positions including Strategic Accounts Solutions Architect, Senior Solutions Architect, and Solutions Architect.

Behrad also has experience working as an Application Architect at Citi from December 2017 to May 2018, an Application Architect and Senior Software Developer at Avanade from 2012 to 2018, a Senior Software Developer Team Lead at Barclays from 2016 to 2017, and a Senior Software Developer at Credit Suisse from 2012 to 2015.

Additionally, Behrad has experience as a Senior Developer at APA Technologies from 2010 to 2012 and a Developer at APA Technologies and Pars System from 2006 to 2009.

Behrad Babaee has a strong educational background in the field of computing. Behrad obtained their MSc degree with Distinction in Advanced Computing: Cryptography from the University of Bristol in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their BSc degree in Software Engineering from the University of Tehran between 2003 and 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Behrad Babaee has also acquired several certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2014, they obtained the MongoDb Certified Developer certification from MongoDB, Inc. Furthermore, in 2020, they obtained two certifications: Apache Cassandra™ Administrator and Apache Cassandra™ Developer, both from DataStax.
