Nathaniel Larsen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Nathaniel began their career as a Medical Technician at The Camp Recovery Center, where they quickly assessed life-threatening situations and provided necessary communication and coordination with patients and medical staff. Nathaniel then transitioned to a role at Best Buy as a Sales Consultant, engaging customers to determine their needs and maintaining a strong knowledge base of products and technology-based solutions. After that, they joined Magnolia Audio Video as a System Designer, providing in-home consultations and identifying specialized products and services to meet customer needs. At Cabrillo College, Nathaniel served as a STEM Student Success Coach, helping students set and maintain academic goals and connecting them with available resources. Nathaniel also worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader, delivering lesson material and assisting students in the Introductory C++ course. Nathaniel gained further experience at Starbucks, where they initially worked as a Barista before becoming a Shift Supervisor. As a Shift Supervisor, they created the Starbucks experience by engaging with customers and promoting positive customer relations. Currently, Nathaniel is a Quality Engineer at Aerospike, Inc.

Nathaniel Larsen began their education at Cabrillo College in 2009, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Nathaniel completed this degree in 2014. In 2011, they also obtained a Skills Certification in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Cabrillo College.

In 2018, Nathaniel Larsen returned to Cabrillo College and earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science. During the same period, they also obtained an Associate's degree in Mathematics from the same institution, completing both degrees in 2020.

Following their time at Cabrillo College, Nathaniel Larsen enrolled at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2020. Nathaniel pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

In terms of additional certifications, Nathaniel Larsen received several certifications. In 2021, they completed the "JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures" and "Responsive Web Design" certifications from freeCodeCamp. In 2022, they obtained several certifications related to server operations and developing for Aerospike, Inc., including "AS101 Intro to Aerospike Enterprise Edition," "AS200 Server Operations Part I," "AS200 Server Operations Part II," and "AS201 Developing for Aerospike I."
