Tim Faulkes

Tim Faulkes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tim currently holds the position of Chief Developer Advocate at Aerospike since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Yugabyte as the Director of Solutions Engineer from 2021 to 2023. Tim also has a significant tenure at Aerospike, where they served as the Vice President of Solutions Architecture from 2020 to 2021 and as the Director of Solutions Architects from 2015 to 2020.

Before joining Aerospike, Tim worked as a Senior Software Developer at aMind Solutions from 2013 to 2015. Tim also served as the Chief Scientist at ITerative-consulting from 2001 to 2013. Earlier in their career, Tim held roles such as Senior Developer at Real Wealth Australia from 2010 to 2013, Development Manager for the CLAS project at St George Bank from 2000 to 2006, Principal Consultant at Forte Software from 1999 to 2001, and Consultant at SEER Technologies from 1994 to 1999.

Tim Faulkes completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Hardware and Computer Software from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) between 1990 and 1994. Additionally, they obtained the certification as a RUP Certified Consultant from Rational Software in August 2003. In April 2020, they also became an Aerospike Technical Expert after completing the relevant training from Aerospike, Inc.
